East European households’ resource-use practices: Learning from the epistemic periphery?

Petr Jehlička held a headliner talk at the "Transformations Community European Hub Conference" in Prague, 12 – 14 July 2023. The talk highlighted several inspiring but little-known facts about household use of resources in Czechia and wider Eastern Europe regarding water, food waste and food self-provisioning and a diverse and resilient food system. Then the talk showed how sustainable household practices in Eastern Europe are not really used as a source of inspiration and "international knowledge". The last part of the presentation proposed what can be done about it.
