Why and how to promote our research outcomes? Discussion with Jan Vávra and Filip Lachmann

An important part of CESCAME activities focuses on promoting our research outcomes and the promotion of the Centre itself towards both the international research community and the Czech publics. On the other hand, the publicity of research outcomes - especially towards the international academic communities - is rarely discussed in the Czech social sciences. Therefore CESCAME prepared an internal online discussion on these topics for the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Terezie Lokšová started the discussion through these questions: What, why and how (not) to do it? How to think about the communication of our research? Where to find inspiration? Our guests were our colleagues Filip Lachmann and Jan Vávra, who systematically focus on the issues of communication of science and promotion of research by various channels.
