Science Communication on Academic Networks: A Seminar with Ilona Trtíková

CESCAME organised an internal seminar for staff of the Institute of Sociology entitled Science Communication on Academic Networks, led by Ilona Trtíková. The seminar focused on the use of academic platforms such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and Publons for communicating research results, building scholarly reputation, and obtaining valuable feedback. It also addressed the role of citations and scholarly visibility in the context of changing practices of discovering academic publications, and provided space for discussion and the sharing of participants’ experiences.
